Acceptance of Terms
By contacting, hiring, or using the services of Yard Drainage Experts, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all customers, visitors, and anyone who interacts with our business in any capacity.
Services
Yard Drainage Experts provides yard drainage installation and repair services including but not limited to French drains, channel drains, catch basins, downspout extensions, and sump pump extensions. All services are performed in Joliet, Illinois and the surrounding suburbs. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
Estimates and Quotes
All estimates provided by Yard Drainage Experts are based on an on-site evaluation of your property. Estimates are not guaranteed final prices. If unforeseen conditions are discovered during the installation process that affect the scope of work, we will notify you before proceeding with any additional charges. Final pricing will be confirmed in a written agreement before work begins.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Yard Drainage Experts accepts cash, check, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required for larger projects before work begins. Any unpaid balance past 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee.
Cancellations and Reschedulling
We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled job please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time may result in a cancellation fee. Any deposit paid for a cancelled project may be non-refundable depending on materials already ordered or work already performed.
Guarentee
Yard Drainage Experts stands behind the quality of our work. We offer an 8 year Guarentee on all installations. This guarentee covers defects in installation but does not cover changes made to the drainage system by anyone other than Yard Drainage Experts.
Property Access and Conditions
By scheduling a service with Yard Drainage Experts you grant us permission to access your property to perform the agreed upon work. You are responsible for notifying us of any underground utilities, pipes, or hazards on your property before work begins. Yard Drainage Experts is not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities or structures. We recommend contacting JULIE at 811 before any digging project to have underground utilities marked.
Permits and Compliance
Some drainage installations may require a permit depending on local regulations. Yard Drainage Experts will advise you if a permit is needed for your project. The cost of any required permits is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Photos and Marketing
Yard Drainage Experts reserves the right to photograph completed projects for use in marketing materials, social media, and our website. If you do not wish for your property to be photographed please notify us in writing before work begins.
Changes to These Terms
Yard Drainage Experts reserves the right to update or change these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
